Formal Semantics and Pragmatics for Natural Language Querying

This book discusses the connection between two areas of semantics: the semantics of databases, and that of natural language, and links them through a common view of the semantics of time. It argues that a coherent theory of the semantics of time is essential for successfully incorporating more 'real world' semantics into database models.
