Relativistic Quantum Mechanics

Introduces relativistic quantum theory at an elementary level, then emphasises applications in condensed matter physics. Basic theory is followed by discussions of the Dirac equation, symmetries and operators, and free particles. Applications covered include many electron systems, scattering theory, band structures, magneto-optical effects and superconductivity.
